The Second Annual
Hairy Helmet Relay

Like running and real ale? Then you'll love the Hairy Helmet Relay!

Last year the county's premier relay race attracted over 350 runners of all abilities to the banks of the River Derwent in Darley Park for the innaugural event. This year we're hoping to push that figure past 500. We'll also be donating money from the event to Rainbow's Hospice, so it's all in a good cause.

Each runner will be rewarded after the race with a free pint of locally-brewed real ale or a soft drink. There'll also be live music, a barbecue and a children's tuckshop to keep the whole family happy.

Why not sign up now - you know it makes sense!twitter facebook

Spread the word!
Encourage your family, friends and work colleagues to get involved – print off a poster and display it in your office, car, or in your home (just next to that pot plant, perfect).
Or dangle a flyer in a random strangers direction. If our club Chair spots your poster in a moving vehicle, you might win a spot prize (it won’t be a helmet but it might be hairy!)

If you want to take part but need extra runners to make up a full team contact hairyhelmetrelay@gmail.com and we'll match you up.
